Description
Bignell Watkins Hasser Architects designed this high-value/low-maintenance state-of-the-art station for Prince Frederick Volunteer Fire Company. This 30,000 sf. facility includes five drive-thru apparatus bays plus a wash bay. The living and administration areas contain office space, bunkrooms, kitchen/dining space, training room, and support space to accommodate shift personnel. The museum area and meeting spaces are open to the public. The facility is designed to adhere to the “hot zone” concept of separating contaminated areas from clean living spaces.
