Bigwaha Marks the Groundbreaking of the Green Valley Fire Station

We were delighted to attend the Green Valley Fire Station Groundbreaking Ceremony—an exciting step forward for the community and a meaningful milestone for our team as the architecture and interior design firm behind this project.

The new 18,000 SF, single-story facility has been thoughtfully designed to reflect its rural setting. The four-bay, drive-through station will include a training and hose drying tower, administrative spaces, bunkrooms, and essential living and wellness areas to support the firefighters who serve this region.

This project carries deep meaning, as the State Highway in front of the station will be dedicated in honor of Battalion Chief Joshua D. Laird, who lost his life in the line of duty on August 11, 2021. Learn more about his story here: https://www.firehero.org/fallen-firefighter/joshua-d-laird/

We’re proud to see this vision come to life and grateful to be part of a project that blends purposeful design with community context.
