Business Development Manager

BIGWAHA is seeking a Business Development Manager to work closely with the firm’s Marketing Director, Principals, and technical staff. The Business Development Manager will play a crucial role in continuing to build our firm’s reputation in not only our niche markets, but to bring us into new markets through leading our business development and planning efforts. -Strong business development skills and a passion to generate relationships with our target client base.
-Creatively and effectively communicate our services and areas of expertise.
-Based on our business goals, support the firm Principals in evaluating and establishing strategies and setting objectives/plans.
-Analyze the firm’s business development efforts; recommend and implement new business development strategies.
-Actively participate in industry associations and networking events for new lead development and maintaining relationships.
-Direct outreach efforts to targeted private and public clients.
-Working closely with the Marketing Director, provide market research, client tracking, and opportunities for growth.
-With the Marketing Director, take ownership of the CRM database to track opportunities and client relationships. Ensure firm-wide utilization of CRM.
-Conduct periodic meetings with internal staff to ensure client satisfaction and track new opportunities.


-Passion for Business Development and Marketing.
-Experience developing new business and client relationships, preferably in the A/E/C industry.
-Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
-Self-starter and organized multitasker able to handle many priorities at once.
-Excellent communication and presentation skills.
-Experience with CRM databases. Experience with Deltek Vision is a plus.
-Proficiency in full Microsoft Office Suite.
-Experience with Adobe Creative Suite is a plus.
-Ability to attend business networking functions outside of normal business hours.

This is an immediate opening but there is flexibility to postpone start date to January 2022.
