Bignell Watkins Hasser Architects has been designing BJ’s Wholesale Clubs for over 25 years. Our projects span the eastern seaboard from Maine to Florida, providing all architectural and engineering services for each. BJ’s Prototype criteria, including the most recent 2014 Reference Set, was developed with 3D BIM software (REVIT) by Bignell Watkins Hasser and coordinated with BJ’s and all engineering consultants.
Several prototypes have been designed and built: incorporating 116,000 SF, 85,000 SF and 68,000 SF with each selected according to site constraints. The firm has also completed renovation programs for several existing BJ’s, as well as installation of specialty departments such as rotisserie chicken areas, deli counters, and tire centers.
