Bignell Watkins Hasser Architecture & Interiors designed a comprehensive 80,950 SF facility maintenance building, featuring a 3-story office and maintenance space, a 6,000 SF operations building on a precast concrete platform in Chesapeake Bay, and a 120,000 SF off-site storage facility. The facility includes offices, conference rooms, a fitness center, locker rooms, a maintenance bay with 5 access bay doors, a process laboratory, a first aid station, and a fire apparatus bay. A multi-level precast concrete parking structure with 347 spaces includes two glass-enclosed stair towers and an elevator. The project also involved HVAC, vertical transportation, specialty equipment systems, and a large shop/warehouse floor with adjacent workshops, storage, and break rooms.
