Bignell Watkins Hasser is proud to be designing the new Lacrosse Center for the United States Naval Academy in our hometown of Annapolis. This 2-story 33,000 sf. facility celebrates the history of Navy Lacrosse while simultaneously serving as a testament to the Naval Academy’s profound commitment to the physical and mental development of the entire brigade of midshipmen. Located along the banks of the Severn River, the facility is dedicated to the Men’s and Women’s Lacrosse teams and will house all of the needs of the program while presenting the many facets of the physical mission of the Academy’s to the more than 2 million annual visitors.
The Center features a state of the art strength and conditioning facility, locker rooms, a hydrotherapy room, an 80 seat theater, coaches’ offices, ward rooms, and roof-top terraces with unmatched views of the Severn River and practice fields.
