The 12,700 sf. space contains 2 design studios, offices, training spaces, and meeting rooms for architects, designers, and office employees. The combined goal in the layout and design of the studio and offices was a functional minimalist aesthetic and sustainable design.
The simple yet effectual layout allows for easy circulation of staff members. The open studio space supports an environment of an integrated design process that encourages synergy and dialogue. At the heart of the studio is the class room and employee lounge which is a node to stimulate interaction. The shared work spaces are located along window walls to allow for maximum day lighting.
The finishes reflect simplicity and budget consciousness which is at the core of the design objective. Finish materials include: Plywood veneer panels, wood frame glazing partitions, resin panel screen walls, polished concrete floors and plywood veneer work-surfaces.
