Description
Bignell Watkins Hassser Architects worked with Frederick County to design Middletown Volunteer Fire Company #7 as the prototype for the County’s next generation of fire stations. The result is a new 18,500 SF Fire Station that was thoughtfully planned to be functionally efficient and visually appealing with modern amenities. Five drive-thru apparatus bays with adjacent decon and PPE rooms, offices, bunk rooms, locker rooms, fitness room, training room, day room and a large kitchen offer exemplary work spaces and accommodations for both volunteers and career fire fighters.
