Bignell Watkins Hasser Architects is currently designing a high value/low maintenance state-of-the-art station for Prince Frederick Volunteer Fire Company. This 30,000 sf facility shall house seven drive-thru bays and a storage area for logistics equipment. The living and administration areas are designed to contain office space, dormitory area, kitchen/dining space, training room and support space to accommodate shift personnel. A museum area and meeting spaces are open to the public. The facility is designed to adhere to the “hot zone” concept of separating contaminated areas from clean living spaces.
