Description
The new Lake Shore Fire Station replaced the existing Lake Shore Volunteer Fire Station with a new county-funded prototype facility (based on 11 fire stations). The county prototype design was amended to meet the needs of the volunteers and to allow the station to achieve a LEED Silver certification. This is Anne Arundel County’s first LEED Fire Station.
The facility is 14,000 SF with three drive-thru bays, multiple bunk rooms, living quarters and offices for County and Volunteer Officers. The building uses well water and septic systems.
