Oxon Hill Public Safety Complex

Bignell Watkins Hasser Architects, PC is currently working with Prince George’s County Fire and EMS to develop a Public Safety Complex in Oxon Hill, MD, This Complex will contain a Fire Station, Fire Training Area, and a Police Station. Currently in design is the Oxon Hill Fire Station 804, a 25,000 sq. ft. station with 5 apparatus bays, a community room, administration areas, living facilities, fitness training space, and support areas. The facility is being designed to achieve LEED Silver with a focus on WELL design to reduce the spread of carcinogenic and infectious diseases. Concurrent with the design of the Fire Station is that of the Fire Training Area, which includes a custom-designed training tower. The site layout also includes plans for a police station.
