This project consisted of the design of a new station in Severn, Maryland. The new 13,210 sf facility includes three drive-thru bays, crew quarters, office areas, sleeping quarters, watch desk, and study areas.
This project was designed to meet LEED standards. Portions of the roof were designed as a “Green” or “Living” roof. The storm water design uses natural drainage and filters instead of ponds to improve water quality.
Anne Arundel County is using this station as the prototype for future projects. This project was completed on time and within budget.
